Clothespin Box Woodcworking Plan

                Chloe, Clothespin or Mail Box
This is my newest woodworking plan. Chloe is a charming clothes pin box that features simple rose carvings and a lovely antique black finish. The carving is done with a hand held rotary tool and a 5/16" carving bit, a simple way for the average crafter to achieve great results with just a little practice. The finish is achieved  by painting the box black, sanding it  strategically, and applying a dark brown stain. Two coats of clear outside varnish are then added for protection. This project also makes a great mailbox  Just enlarge the plan slightly. This project is built using the glue, screw and cap method of woodworking which allows even the novice woodworker to achieve great results in a reasonable amount of time and with just a few tools.
